Tea & Poetry
BALLAD OF THE TEA PICKERS
Where thousand hills the vale enclose, our little hut is there. And on the sloping sides around the tea grows everywhere. So I must rise at early dawn, as busy as can be. To get my daily labor done, and pluck the leafy tea.
Uniquely Tea is a collection of tea related bits and bobs from here, there and everywhere, with the occasional 'one-for-the-pot' off-topic post thrown in for good measure.

The poem and the picture give a whole new perspective to tea and the value of each sip from now on.
Thank you Denise.
That is a great photo, and it really does make you appreciate tea more when you know about the lives of those who help get it to us!
That is a lovely photo and poem. I wonder if those baskets give them a headache, tho!
I find photos of picking tea by hand to be so facinating. This is a very nice photo.
